Bella came this afternoon for tutoring and the state testing begins next week. She is one of those students who is anxious about those tests and I hate to see it in any child. I used to tell my students that the test writers are evil and the kids' job is to fight the evil and not let them win. I don't know that it helps because it is so difficult to overcome fear, but it's the best I have. The good news for me is that I won't be mentoring or tutoring next week which is why my wine group is going to Fredericksburg on Wednesday. Can't wait!
