It was a twofer today and I'm not complaining. I had lunch with a friend I worked with at Pelto many moons ago whom I haven't seen for at least 20 years. She lives in a suburb of Houston about 20 minutes from Katy and it was great to see her again. I was having a bad hair day and am getting it cut on Saturday, so don't judge, but she stopped by the house before she went home and we just had to take a selfie. We also decided to make lunch a regular thing. Obviously she's much younger than me, but her kids are now grown, so we can get together anytime.

Then this evening I had dinner with some of the wine girls. I'd prefer not to have double eat out days, but again... I'm not complaining.
