I had a little scare on Friday, which I can now share. My chest X-ray showed a spot on my lung that the doctor was concerned about. He wanted the radiologist to see it before he ordered a CAT scan and said it would be Monday before I heard back from him. So all weekend I prepared myself for the fact that I had lung cancer... the absolute most embarrassing kind of cancer to get because it's always attributed to smoking and I was stupid. But I learned today that it is only a calcified granuloma, which is the result of TB exposure. Two years ago I was treated with nine months of medication due to exposure most likely incurred in the nursing home. Bottom line... good news!

I went to my aerobics class at the Y today for the first time since my fall and, although it hurt like hell, I know it was good for me. But I'm looking forward to water aerobics tomorrow, which should feel much better. Glad to back in the groove.
