So sorry about no post yesterday. Gretchen and I were in a remote area of North Lake Tahoe and I had no service on my phone. We drove to South Lake Tahoe yesterday morning and had lunch at a delightful restaurant by the water. Then we took a very scenic route around the lake up to the north side. We stayed at the Hyatt in Incline Village which was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. We were even served complimentary champagne at check-in! We got there late due to construction on the way, so had a wonderful smoked salmon dinner at the restaurant there. And then... well, what can you do when there's a casino on site? So we gambled till bedtime and although neither of us were big winners, we had fun with no complaints.

Today we had lunch in Truckee, a quaint old mining town, and then headed back to Gretchen's where Andrea came to pick me up. Stay tuned for more adventure tomorrow...
