Today was the Lyons family Christmas party hosted by Adrienne and Charles. I missed Santa Claus, but got there in time for the magician who impressed the children as well as the adults.

There was a woman there who painted faces and made balloon animals as well as lots of light sabers. Can't imagine why! Not really sure who this kid belonged to, but he was proud to be a pirate.

More than 100 people were there... Kitty's kids plus spouses, their children and spouses, and her grandchildren, some with spouses, and then lots and lots of Kitty's great-grandchildren.

We all sang happy birthday to Jesus.

And the young men played basketball all afternoon. You would have never known there were so many people there because there were so many different places for groups to congregate, thanks to a beautiful day. Kitty made her famous gumbo and as usual, there was way more food than everyone could eat. But it was all delicious! I had a great time and am so glad they include me in their family gatherings!
